David A. Sher
I am an RTG Post-doctoral Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Michigan. My office is 1830 East Hall. This fall, I am teaching two sections of Math 217, which is a proof-based introduction to linear algebra.
My research is in spectral geometry, which involves geometric analysis, partial differential equations, and linear algebra. I did my Ph.D. at Stanford under the supervision of Rafe Mazzeo.
